Sage Workforce Development specializes in relationship building, communications, employee retention, management training, and leadership development. Our three-part training series, “Productivity Principles,” teaches employees how to:

  • Express personal values through work for increased motivation.
  • Practice, adapt, and apply skills learned every day at work.

Productivity Principles 101: Motivating Employees for High Performance
1-Day Course

Motivated employees are fun to work with, work longer hours, and don’t look for other jobs. They know what they are doing right and strive to do things well. This class trains managers to become coaches who foster motivated employees.

We begin by discussing elements that cause motivated employees. Next, we evaluate the staff’s current level of motivation and talk about how to increase their commitment through coaching. Most people are not aware of their own potential. A coach motivates employees to view their skills and abilities in a new light, choosing to push themselves to achieve more than they believed possible. Thus, we guide each burgeoning coach through the coaching process, providing tools to use at each stage.

The course then provides content and an opportunity for role-playing, demonstrating to participants how to give recognition and explain the payoff employees receive. The activities cement this process, empowering managers to coach on a daily basis beyond the seminar.

Productivity Principles 102: Motivating Teams to Accomplish Goals Together
1-Day Course

Assess your team, build its skills, and apply better managerial methodology through this seminar. First, who are members of your team? This section identifies the roles, strengths, and gaps hindering performance for each employee. Second, learn what affects team performance in communication, meetings, project planning, and more. The class concludes with a customized teambuilding activity designed to apply and use on the job.

Productivity Principles 103: Deliver Any Message and Get Results
1-Day Course

People who see issues standing in their way and solve them help the firm get on with business. On the other hand, employees leave managers, not jobs. Learn to identify your staff’s stumbling blocks, their hidden costs, and how to walk employees through to the solutions. We discuss how saying the same thing repeatedly doesn’t get different results. The seminar instructs how to adapt your conversations to achieve the desired behavior among your staff. Finally, put theory into action through role-playing actual scenarios in your workplace. Participants walk away ready to deliver a tough message to anyone and achieve results.
